Jan Chipchase, a global innovation expert and a thought leader on consumer behavior and user anthropology, will take the stage at HUB Tokyo on Friday September 5th! Jan has had an interesting and inspirational career, which has enabled him to see more of the world than most people will do in a lifetime. This year he has made the decision quit his job and start his own business. To get to the point where he is now, Jan has had to make many tough choices and overcome many hardships. The epic story that he is going to share with us centers around his life story. Jan has spend most of the last 10 years traveling around the world to do what he does best: analyze and research people's behavior and interaction with products. For many years Jan has conducted extensive research for Nokia in the field of user centered design. After working for Nokia, Jan became an creative director of global Insights at Frog, a global design and innovation consultancy company. He specialized in understanding and identifying patterns in human behavior and his research has helped clients gain a deep insight into current and future customers. This year, Jan founded Studio D Radiodurans, a research, design and innovation consultancy company. He conduct international research, design and strategy services to many multinational companies.
ヤン氏は世界中を飛び回り、人々の行動観察から新たなプロダクトやビジネスアイデアを導きだすエキスパート。ノキアでのインドをはじめとする新興途上国市場で人間開発デザインリサーチ、デザインコンサルティング会社Frogのクリエイティブディレクターを勤めた後、独立、現在は自身のデザイン会社Studio D Radioduransを立ち上げ起業家となりました。

‘Epic Stories: The Adventures of Systematic Change makers’ is a series of events held at HUB Tokyo. During each event a prominent change maker/ thought leader takes the stage and shares his or her epic story with the audience. During this interactive talk session the audience is able to gain deep insights into the professional and personal side of the change maker and ask any questions they might have.
